Vetusta morla in Merida: laser mapping in Roman ruins
Laser mapping for Vetusta Morla
Last August 28th in Mérida, Paraddax was in charge of the laser mapping show scheduled for that day.
Due to the historical enclave chosen, we had to meet the necessary requirements to ensure the integrity of the environment. That's why the previous programming was key to have the set ready on time, safely and efficiently.
The lightness of the laser equipment and its ability to adapt to all types of spaces were the perfect solution for an action with so many challenges involved.
In addition, the great light power offered by these systems, managed to highlight the architectural details of the theater, providing relief and a decorative touch that made the moldings of the forum stand out even more.
The combination of lights, music and lasers gave rise to a modern and elegant scenography, mixing technological elements with ancient structures in a harmonious and effective way.
The show took place in the Roman theater of Mérida during the second installment of the Stone&Music festival.
