Laser types: volumetric, graphic, laser mapping and interactive lasers
There are several types of lasers and, depending on the one we choose, we can apply it to specific projects.
We will classify them into 4 types, according to their application:
Graphic laser: this is a type of laser with high light power, which allows to project on smooth surfaces such as building facades, floors and other areas.
The graphic laser can also vary in color and intensity and remain static or in motion.
Laser mapping: we call this the graphic laser applied on surfaces where we highlight specific details, such as columns or window frames on facades or parts of a product if we were talking about a project in the retail sector: shoelaces, brand logos, etc...
This type of application brings a lot of volume to the space as well as dynamism. It is a technology that does not damage any element that may be delicate, such as ancient architecture or historical objects.
Volumetric laser: we are talking about the best known type of laser and we have all seen more than once in discos or stadiums.
In order to use this type of laser, it will always be necessary to apply smoke to the environment so that, when the laser light beams pass through the space, they can be optimally visualized, showing the smoke particles that remain in the air. The luminous space must be adequately contrasted to accentuate its effect.
Interactive laser: laser application that allows people to interact through dynamic games programmed with laser and sound: soccer matches, theater curtains, etc...
The laser will respond to their movements, allowing them to interact with it, touching it and generating a response.
It offers us incredible possibilities to create actions of great impact .
Silohuette laser: here we refer to a very specific use of the interactive laser.
From Paraddax we have developed a new formula to create a surprising and unique laser effect: a laser that recognizes the silhouettes of people and their movement.
Fun for everyone!!!
With music and a suitable space, we will create an action with an unmatched emotional footprint .
